Excitement filled the air around Clifden’s Station House Hotel on Tuesday 23rd September, where the children of Letterfrack National School took part in a Discover Snorkelling programme. This activity was organised by Scubadive West and offered to the children as part of Conamara Seaweek. With almost thirty enthusiastic young snorkellers filling the pool, endless fun was guaranteed. On departure, each child was presented with an information pack on the marine environment. No doubt many of these children are our marine biologists and conservationists of the future.
