Recent months’ hard-work have paid off in full as Scubadive West gains the prestigious rating of National Geographic Dive Centre. This rating is the brainchild of PADI (the world’s largest professional diving organisation) and National Geographic (easily one of the world’s most recognised brands). As the leader in the field of international exploration, nature study and adventure reporting; National Geographic sought flagship locations within the PADI system. These world-class dive centres will provide a complete experience for adventure divers and underwater thrill seekers!

Scubadive West is delighted to be counted amongst the world’s greatest and will offer the National Geographic Diver Specialty on an ongoing basis. This Specialty is available to all levels of diver from Openwater Diver upwards and offers the opportunity to create your own underwater adventure! Bouyancy and navigation skills are honed to perfection, and the course culminates in an underwater project of the diver’s choice.
