‘The 60 Footer’

Exporing the bow in December 2011

The 60 footer is an old timber trawler lying in 13 metres depth, and accessible from the shore here.
It is ideal for anyone from the newly qualified Open Water exploring their first wreck, to the most experienced teccie perfecting their positioning and trim.

Fun in the (intermittent) Sun!

Happy Divers

The weekend past saw divers from all over the country flock to our shores for boat and shore diving. Indeed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday seasoned divers got their fins wet for the first time this year, and many students had their first experience of diving in the ocean! Well done also to the newly qualified Scuba Divers and Open Water Divers! We hope to see you all again soon. The Sun made a guest appearance a few times today and with its welcome heat came the promise that Spring is just around the corner!

Happy New Year!

Jump in!

Our PADI Instructor Course started today, and with a calm sea and (some!) blue sky this afternoon the ideal diving conditions meant all present were ready to jump in as soon as possible. A nice change from the morning spent in the classroom!
