The weekend past marked our first Island Dive Safari for 2010. A large group of divers from Kish SAC travelled West in search of excellent diving and wonderful island hospitality. The beautiful ‘Brazen Hussy’ dive catamaran departed for Inis Boffin’s dive sites on Saturday, with a stop on Boffin for lunch. At the end of a great day’s diving, this speedy boat zipped across to Inis Turk where divers relaxed amidst Delia Concannon’s great food and hospitality. Naturally, a trip to the local pub was also in order! Sunday’s diving took place around Inis Turk where some of our favourite dive sites including the ‘Pond’ were dived. Despite some plankton in the shallows, visibility averaged 10 – 15 metres on all the dive sites.
