Sea Hare

The order Aplysia refers to the little brown slug like critters ‘invading’ our waters at the moment. Known to you & I as Sea Hares, these sea slugs multiply in Atlantic waters in early summer and provide some interesting opportunities for close-up photography. They are so called because their head tentacles (or rhinophores) resemble the erect ears of a hare or rabbit
