On Tuesday 9th October 2012 in flat calm sea conditions with blue skies, 10 metres visibility and Ocean temperature of 12°C Paul Devane set the new Guinness World Record for the longest open saltwater scuba dive in cold water at 13 hours and 4 minutes.
Paul was perched on top of a purpose built underwater tower here at Scubadive West and supported by a team of divers, shore crew and boat skippers.
