The West of Ireland and particularly the remote wilderness of Connemara often cause the visitor to stop in their tracks, awed by the beauty and peace of their new found environment. It may be that the pure air and fresh sea spray de tox the soul of the fickle worries and trappings of the modern world, or that the sudden encounters with nature in all her glory bring about a childlike joy.
