What is that makes the perfect summer weekend? The hot sunshine, the happy divers, the very best dive equipment manufacturers onsite with their gear available to try out for free, …. delicious hot food buffets and balmy evenings spent around the campfire in great company… yes, that will do it!

Aoife & Andy Sunset
Our Test Event weekend with O’Three, Suunto, Fourth Element, Analox and Freedive Ireland was the stuff of summer memories. We have the location and all the shiny equipment you could ever want, all we needed was the weather.. and wow did we get the weather! With daytime temperatures of 23 to 25 degrees and no wind it was better than we could have dreamed.

O'Three's latest offering, the Port 10 Drysuit was very popular at the weekend

Renowned Drysuit manufacturer O’Three were onsite here for the whole weekend with their full range of drysuits and thermals available to try out on actual dives in the sea for free. Marcus Darler and Josh Baker from O’Three were on hand to assist with drysuit fitting and help divers with the choice of thermals pre dive. They were also kept busy showing people their full product range and enjoying the banter in the festival type atmosphere.

At Scubadive West we are agents for O’Three drysuits, we carry new stock and have a fleet of the 5mm  MSF 500tb drysuits available in our rental room.

The RI 1-100  and RI 2-100 are 1mm and 2mm thin neoprene drysuits, popular with people that prefer a thin flexible drysuit. They represent the ultimate in high end comfort and performance.

One comment at the weekend was ..”much warmer, more comfortable and stretchy than a membrane drysuit”..

Great comfort in a great environment

For other divers (myself included) maximum warmth is priority number one, so the MSF 500tb and the new entry level PORT 10 drysuits gauging in at 5mm and 4.5mm were on test with lots of divers, needing only lightweight thermals underneath.

Full information on the range of O’Three Drysuits is available on our website or by calling or emailing us, contact details below.

On Friday we will be announcing the winners of the O’Three raffle They have very generously put up 3 prizes of £100 O’Three vouchers! Whether you are looking for a lovely new drysuit, a wetsuit or a toasty warm set of thermals, these prizes will certainly go a long way towards making your diving warmer and more comfortable!
